The stage is now set for the second session of the Paylink MSME Digital Bootcamp for micro, small and medium enterprises in Nigeria to harness the opportunity to scale and garner relevant skills that will position them for growth.
The training, which is an offshoot of the Google Digital Skills Africa programme for existing and prospective Paylink customers, would hold on Thursday, April 22nd 2021 in continuation of the MSME Digital Bootcamp that first held on March 24th and with the concluding part scheduled to hold on May 20th, 2021.
Over 5,000 entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners within and outside Nigeria that attended and watched the last edition mastered the art of building their brands using Google tools and learnt how to strengthen their digital footprints to maximise the gains of the growing digital economy, sell online, and receive payments through easy-to-use multiple channels.
One of them was Musa Usman, an entrepreneur from Adamawa state, who stated that he gained more skills needed to reposition his business online and attract more customers.
“I now know better how to establish, maintain and nurture my business online, as well as sell online via multiple digital payment channels on Paylink,” he said.
The last session was only a tip of the iceberg as it was geared towards equipping over 15,000 MSMEs with digital skills and technology required to enjoy the ease, flexibility and opportunities necessary to thrive in these changing business times.
Online and offline business owners and managers at the next digital bootcamp will be empowered with digital expertise for growth, insights and strategies needed to sustain their business on a long term as well as tips that would distinguish them from their competitors.
Google has also reiterated its commitment to support MSMEs in Nigeria and promote their cause with tools that elevate business growth. With a standing commitment to help 500,000 SMEs grow businesses, Google will expose participants to new tools, financial support and trainings.
The first Paylink MSME Digital Bootcamp was great; the second promises to be greater!
